  • What do I need before the call?
    Your completed intake form, a Stripe or PayPal account, and a laptop or desktop. We'll create your TidyCal and BreezeDoc accounts together on the call. Your confirmation email includes a short prep checklist with links for you to complete before the call.

    Do I have to buy any tools?
    Yes! TidyCal is a one-time purchase of $29 with no monthly fee as of when this FAQ was created (check the current TidyCal price). BreezeDoc has a free plan that covers your first clients. Both were chosen because they help you start lean. Stripe and PayPal accounts are free. You only pay a transaction fee when a client buys from you.

    What if I don't know what to charge?
    You don't have to figure it out. I set your starting price for you with one simple rule: divide your yearly salary by 2,000. If the answer is under $100, you start at $100 an hour. If it's over $100, you start at the number you got. It's a starting price, not a forever price. You raise it as your confidence and your clients grow.

    Why do you ask about my salary?
    Your salary is how I set your starting price. You'll only choose a range on the intake form, so you never share an exact number with me.

    What if I want to change something you built?
    We look at everything together at the start of our call and make changes live, before anything goes on your booking page. It's your offer, so it needs to sound like you.

    Do I need an LLC or a registered business before I start selling?
    It depends. What you need depends on where you live. I'm not a lawyer, so for your business structure, I'll point you to professional legal guidance for your situation.

    Do I need a business name, logo, or website first?
    No. You don't need a finished brand to set up your first paid offer. We'll build with what you have.

    Can we set up more than one offer?
    This session focuses on one cash injection offer so you leave with it fully set up and ready to share. One offer that's live will serve you better than three that are half built.

    Is this my signature offer?
    No. This session creates your cash injection offer, a simple session you can sell right away. Your signature offer is your main offer, built on your own step-by-step process, and it gets created in the Start That Business Intensive.

    How is this different from the Start That Business Intensive?
    Your First Paid Offer Setup builds one cash injection offer for you and sets it up with you so you can start charging. The Start That Business Intensive is where we build your full business with you, including your signature offer, from your foundations to your launch.
